AIM_LogoAIM is a tactical 2D 2-player Base-shooter for tablets. The players play on the same device, which should be placed on a flat surface between them to create the best possible experience. Each player has to try to maneuver his projectile(s) through a series of obstacles, by the help of five goodies, which can be placed in the space between the two bases, to destroy the opponents shields and finally his base to win the game. The game is designed to offer a fast and easy start but to still offer enough diversity for experienced players to find more creative and effective ways to hit the opponents base with as many projectiles as possible. If you think keeping control of three projectiles at once, manipulating them with gravitational or reflective effects sound complicated enough, try to do that with six or even twelve. In AIM you will never encounter a possibility to score a direct hit on your opponents base but the longer you play and the better you´ll get, new and even more interesting ways will open to you, driving you to even more crazy combos then you thought were possible when you started playing it. AIM was exhibited at various occasions during the last year, constantly getting very positive feedback. We even encountered a six year old beating one of the developers after playing only three games.

AuRum is an augmented reality (AR) board game for 2 – 4 players. This game is the result of our “games for younger audiences” term at university, targeting kids from 8 – 12 years. However various tests have shown that it appeals to a very wide audience, ranging through all groups of ages. In AuRum you get to choose a pirate on a hunt for legendary treasure strewn out across various islands, just waiting to be recovered. The players will be racing towards these treasures in various locations and venture forth to different islands with altering layouts. All the way powering up you unique character with loot found on the way and hindering your opponents by planting trees right in front of their noses or sending domesticated monkeys to steal their equipment. When you discover new islands in the AR expansion you have to steer your ship around treacherous shallows and through dangerous whirlpools to be the first pirate to set foot on new found land, all the while keeping an eye out for bypassing cannonballs to not be outrun by your rivals.

In Conquest two players battle each other for to dominate the worlds dwindling recourse to save their civilization from ruin. They do that with the help of up to two factions, each represented in separate decks containing a total of 60 cards, summoning creatures of three different classes which can use special powers by the aid of their corresponding action cards. Move around the board, build mana wells to get your war machinery going and destroy your opponents resources on your way to destroy his fortress and establish yourself as the exclusive user of the wonders generated by mana. Conquest offers a highly tactical, less volatile card gaming environment to build your decks in and to use your dream combos on a regular basis. In this game you need to be outsmarted rather than out-top-decked, out-coin-tossed or out-card-drawn. Every situation can be solved, the question is, does your deck offer the possibility to? We chopped away some unwanted bits to card games and added some new, interesting ones offering a different approach to the mechanics you’re already familiar with. E.g. a contestable economy system, constantly shifting line of battle, a board featuring 21 different locations, two graveyards located on specific locations on the board, creature classes and classified action cards, dual decking, the ability to draw cards for resources rather than a set amount at the start of your turn and many more. This game is targeted at trading card veterans and provides roughly 40 min of hard thinking, outmaneuvering, and conquering your opponent with every single match.
